Decision support and Knowledge management (DT2M)

The ALL elaborated BIOLABORATORY INFORMATICS SYSTEM Decision support and Knowledge management (DT2M) subsystem fulfils the next technical requirements: DT2M helps in evaluating certain molecular biological examinations and supplies the technology related knowledge management. This contains: 

 Processing the results of the measurings of the mobile molecular biology laboratory, aggregating the same sample related measurements, acqusition of the information necessary for the decision, evaluating the measurements based ont he a priori given and the obtained (during the measurement) knowledge, and decision proposal based on them.

Studying parameters of the measuring technologies and the connections of the parameters based on the completed examinations.

Forming hypothesis for the causes of irregalarity based on the analysis of the examinations that show irregular qualities  The DT2M prepares decision proposals, the system forms a pecuse opinion that means the most optimal alternative based on the collected information. The proposal is not a decision! The decision has to be made by the person who uses the program, and who can lean on informations that are not available for the system. The decision and the proposal are always related to a certain examination base and factor.  The most important role of the decision is to summarize the collected information on a level that it results a knowledge element appropriate for action. Working out the exact action order is not a part of  the decision, therefore the action plan appears only as an abstract part in the decision. During the summary of the results develops the (measurement- based) information that shows the decision alternatives that are probable.
