Intelligent partner system

ALL has participated in the development of a methodology and environment for knowledge based medical systems, named “partner systems” (PS). PS includes special tools for information modelling and threshold logic based decision making. In this frame several medical systems have been developed, among others a system supporting decision making in every phase of the care of nephrology, namely in diagnosis, treatment selection and indication of transplantation. The method provide a practical, easy-to-use solution to eBusiness companies, which cut across multiple intra- and inter-organisational functionalities and activities, making it possible dynamically to extract and recombine knowledge across traditional functional and organisational boundaries. A novel knowledge management methodology will be developed that combines logical, statistical, fuzzy and connectionist approaches. This methodology aims to enhance creativity, innovation, competencies, and responsiveness of individuals and organisations in the eBusiness area. An Intelligent Partner System supports this methodology. The system that supports the dynamic knowledge acquisition and creation will also help to find the adequate decisions in the business environment with increasing dynamics.
