Mission statement
ALL's mission has been to develop advanced mathematical and logical methods and tools for emerging information technology and modelling of systems of high complexity. ALL’s main objective is to carry on R & D as to „restructure reality” to fit Information Technology. In a „down to earth” sense this means:
formalization of reasoning methods,
formalization of hardly formalizable problem domains,
modeling of systems of high complexity,
development of intelligent partner systems,
development of software engineering methods.
Aboves are covered by formal tools and logical foundations up to their applications achieved with the strong support and involvement of research groups from Kiev and Moscow.
The main objective of ALL is the development of the conceptual and theoretical basis and of the methodological and technological tools in order to support the creation of intelligent application systems that force the development of the national and global information societies and to help citizens and institutions to participate efficiently in this new type of society.
ALL is charged with ensuring the technological background/conditions for citizens and institutions participating in the global information society.
Formalisation of hardly formalisable problem domains in order to develope the corresponding intelligent partner systems to support problem solving, decision making and knowledge centre development and management in these disciplines.
Computer aided understanding, modelling and design of complex systems.
ALL makes research into the development and deployment of new information and communication technologies.
